I never have time to check my many e-mail accounts. (LOL) Besides that I ama very busy sista just like many of my SORORS! I am a 2nd year law student at Thomas Cooley Law School, I am a wedding coordinator, (my last wedding was in August 08'), a Unit II Manger with Cookie Lee Jewerly (so is my sands Sangeya, let us take care of all your jwelery needs), a Godmother, daughter, sister, and friend. I am a small Business Corporation! Oh, and a full time customer servive rep. for Chrysler Finacial. Ok, so for fun, I like to hang w/friends and sorors, shop, travel, shop, attend concerts and plays, shop, go to the movies (never have time, "Madea Goes to Jail" was the last one),and I also have the pleasure of being a personal stylist for a few of my friends (that's my Hollywood dream career).
What do you love about being a Delta?
The strong friendships I have made and the rewarding feeling I get from belonging to the most illustrious (I hope I spelled that right, lol) organization.

Okay...So I gotta go get Benjamin Button...never saw it, never had an interest in it. How was your weekend? Hope everything is going well with Bre, her mother mentioned her briefly, but.....
You're welcome. If you even want to talk or ask questions just give me a call at 313-574-7002. But after reading your message it seems that you have some misunderstandings about what happens when a person is an organ donor. There is a difference between a deceased donor and a living donor. If you are a deceased donor....you won't even know that you're having a surgery. Girl, just give me a call. :)
My mom and Tiffany were getting so frustrated with the movie, because there were so many questions unanswered until you got to the end. My impatient mother didn't even finish the movie with us. But, once you got to the end and everything was tied together, I was in awe...or however you spell that word.
Yeah, I won't get there virus...I'm too tough for that. But, it is gross!
I hope you feel better G, get some rest this weekend. I've pray for you as well...Amen!
Okay, so my son is out of the hospital....Thank God and thank you for your prayers. Now, my daughter has his stomach virus. On my way to work, and she's throwing up (amongst other things). I'm like, 'wait a minute'. So, I guess this weekend we'll be home dealing with that.
Oh, and I read your message below....G...I saw Will Smith on Oprah and just about feel in love with him. He is such a commendable man, husband and father. My mouth just dropped listening to him. Did you see him on Oprah some months back, when he was promoting that movie?
Yes, I saw Seven Pounds. I'm glad you're thinking about it, but do you mind telling me what your doubts or questions are? I encourage you to visit a couple of websites to learn more. DonateLifeAmerican.com is a good website explaining the need for organ donation. Also, GiftofLifeMichigan.org is another great website.
I will keep you updated. And yes, I am truly blessed and am fortunate to get to travel at the expense of someone else. I love promoting organ donation (I will be at the Secretary of State office on Livernois on April 8th for an event called Buddy Day.) I will be encouraging patrons to register to be an organ donor. I will also be promoting organ donation at my job next week because the entire month of April is National Organ Donation Awareness Month.
Thank G! He was in there on Monday and he came up this Wednesday. He is still running a fever, but the stomach virus is subsiding and he should be feeling better by the end of this week.
G, I know you are not a conformist! That's why the thought of you joining FB is so cute and funny! Gon' G!
Hello Soror,
I'm not on here much myself. FB (Facebook) is a daily spot for me now. Thanks for the congrats. I had a GREAT time. I've actually done another event following the Rose Bowl. I was chosen to go to Chicago to represent a transplant patient in a special photo and video shoot. I felt like a star for the two days I was there. It was extra SPECIAL because it was an all expense paid trip and they compensated me for my meals too.
Besides, when you add me as a friend on Facebook, you can see all of my kids....lol! Pray for my son, he is in the hospital with a stomach virus. But, he's a soldier so he'll be alright! Love You GP!
