By the way, does anyone know Soror Dionne Freeman? She's from Detroit and pledged at TSU I think in 90 or 91. Been looking for her and would love to reconnect. Let me know....
Although I graduated from and pledged at University of Detroit Mercy (Delta Psi), my college journey began in Nashville, TN at Tennessee State University (go Big Blue!). This is also where my Delta journey began (my first informal tea with Alpha Chi…

I have two beautiful children and the most AWESOME husband in the world!
How are you? I thought I've seen your pictures somewhere before. I figured it was the Central St. site. I just love that place, even though I graduated from WU. Looking forward to meeting you soon.
Congratulations on the new house!!! Yeah we are doing some remodeling...we have been in our home for 14 years now and it was time. We had planned on moving by the time my son was in middle school BUT with the economy the way it is our plan fell through. So hopefully in about two years we will be able to move.
As far as the middle school.....it took my son a little time to adjust because in the elementary school, they kind of hold their hands and walk them through a lot of their assignments. It is not the same in the middle, they make them become independent which is a good thing. He has adjusted and he knows he has to study.
I am having problems with the uniforms as usual. Schoolbelles do not have the winter gym uniforms once again. Do you think it will be alright if he wears a plain blue sweatsuit??
We are going to pass on the trip this year because we also have alot going on (trying to do some remodeling) and it's really not in the budget. Are you still on the Taupe and Tan committee?
Yes it is truly a small world. My son is in the 7th grade. We (you and I)see each other quite often and just speak in passing. I had know idea that you were a soror.
Hello Leah, congrats on the nupitals, Kim told me she ran into you recently. We crossed April 26, 2008. Small world with Gregg, we all have to try to hang sometime soon.
Hey Leah, welcome to the site. Can't remember the age of your kids but if they're storytelling age, join us at DAC from 9-12 for storytelling fun, bouncys and grilling:)
