- About Me:
- I'm among those pioneer preachin' women of the contemporary era. I've been an ordained Baptist minister for 29 years. While in seminary, I gained the support of the late Reverend Ralph D. Abernathy who ordained me at a time when such was not being done. Over the years, I've been blessed to provide pastoral leadership to congregations in South Carolina, Massachusetts, and Colorado as well as to sea service commands ashore and afloat as a Navy chaplain (USNR). Though my military career ended abruptly due to an auto accident, God is faithful! I left with the permanent rank of Commander.
I'm currently Minister of Education at the Historic Little Rock Baptist Church of Detroit. I'm also an affiliate faculty member at Regis University in Colorado where, for the past nine years, I've taught classroom and online courses in psychology, sociology, and religious studies.
God has shown me new challenges that lay just beyond the horizon. I'll share them as they come to fruition.

I am in Vegas now visiting Jonathan. I was in Arizona for the past two and a half weeks visiting Brandon, Samantha and baby Azizi Jonathan (AJ). AJ was Christened while I was there.
