- What do you love about being a Delta?
- Living up to and upholding the jewels everyday of my life. Finding inspiration in the founders and those Deltas who took part in my rearing--mother and her friends. Living to be an inspiration and role model for others who would come to carry the torch after me. Taking great pride in the strength I find in myself to BE myself when others would have me to do differently or would find fault in my doing so. Surely this is the same element was present when our founders established our great sisterhood--they chose their path and ignored what others prescribed for them. I take great inspiration and pride in being part of a MAVERICKS FOR CHANGE (lol) sorority!

Heard through the grapevine that you left Detroit and were on another great adventure....Need a status update. :-)
Went to Homecoming last week end. It was interesting. There is no Delta chapter at WMU. That is so weird in view of the fact we had been on campus for more than 50 years....Is that the state of Black America?

Saw your brother-in-law during Homecoming at WMU. He indicated that he didn't even know you had attended Western until after the fact...
When will you back at Baker's? I missed you at the Music Hall. There are so many things I have to attend that I often miss the things I want to attend....I guess I could go to your web-site and see where you are appearing. But I guess I got accustomed to getting the information directly from you.
It was good to hear from you though. Let's me know positive vibes are coming my way to combat the negativity that is out there. Let me know what is going on...
