Happy Anniversary to my Funky Tail!
I know I'm a little early...but, I wanted you to see my message first! LOL. Sands, 18 years....wow....who would have thought that we would be 18 years old. I appreciate all the memories...the fun times...the tough times...the long talks and the house parties. We have shared so much over these years and I can't imagine my life without any of you. I am so proud of you, your accomplishments and your character. You are a remarkable woman! We reformed our home chapter and it took a lot of hard work. Thanks for always hanging in there with us...Re-4-Mation would not be what we are without you. Even though you are not hear with us, know that we love you and we are thinking of you on this day...the day we all became more that sisters but the day we became Sands and Friends!
Greta...If your tennis swing is anything like your other wicked one then guuurl Venus & Sarina better look out!!!
91' is still reprenting like the stars that we are : )
I can't believe it's been 17 years since you moved South!!! It won't be long before I make the South my home as well....we suffer from the bitter cold and short summer season for no reason at all...
BTW: I've been thinking about going to Renaissance's 30th anniversary celebration for the entire school.....if I didn't miss it already:)...did you get the information? If not, I can forward your way ...just in case you are in town..
Hey Greta, I have vacation homes in Orlando and Daytona Beach so I spend more time there.....I need to work out a "snowbird" plan like you. I really like the other seasons in Michigan....It didn't feel right when I lived in NOLA and the leaves didn't change for the fall:). One of my good friends moved from Ohio, to Georgia and goes to Florida for the winter....she's probably like you...not really interested in dealing with the cold at all..even the cold in Georgia or the Carolinas.....
On another note....I'm still struggling with the news about Maurice ..he was definitely someone I wanted to see during the reunion.
I know what you mean about being a snowbird...you are in the perfect position to do it...after spending time in Florida recently, I think my move will be more south than the Carolinas. I want 60-75 degree winters and I think it gets a bit colder than that in the Carolinas. I really love Florida and can do my job from anywhere....everyone I ran into during my recent vacation was a snowbird from Michigan.... I have to do some research on Florida and narrow down my choices but I truly doubt that I can stand too many more Michigan winters....you can appreciate this joke the pilot made the other night flying in from Florida....he said, "we might run into a few bumps as we pass through Tennessee because of some rain and if you live in Michigan ask yourself why???...it's very cold, heavy snow, freezing fog and visibility is less than a 1/2 mile..." It might a good number of us think twice that night...:)
Okay Greta....show us all up with your celebrity style tennis photo:). I hope you had a nice holiday season!!! I'm sitting in Florida right now wondering why I still live in Michigan....I'm seriously thinking about the Carolinas if I don't go west so I will be in touch for your advice/opinions about the area. I visit NC/SC frequently but I'm sure it's different living there...
I have been waiting a very long time to hear from you. Miss you much and would really like to reconnect. I can see by your profile as I expected all is certainly well for you, OH Smart one (LOL). Call me 313-434-6932 or 499-1130 (home) You take care, still love you. Your pers,
Well it's about time...I can't believe it. Haven't seen you in such a long time. You know I have to keep up with my Delta Psi babies. I get the info from Meri. Glad to see you're doing well. Welcome to the site. Now let's get some pictures up.
I will be here...taking off the entire time between Christmas and New Year's. Maybe we can get Lisa to hang with us at least one nite. LOL! I understand and I'm getting more into these sites now because it keeps me connected without actually having to leave my house! I see you are back in the swing of things. Glad that you are much better and I have so much to tell my Sands...a lot of life changes...positive ones...just waiting for the right time to spring it on you guys! Let's talk soon!
